The FOX Morning News
from WLOB Radio
and FOX Television |
|
The
FOX Morning News is a co-venture
between WLOB Radio and FOX 23 Television in Portland, Maine.
The program is broadcasted on both radio and television live each
weekday morning from 6:00a to 9:00a.
The broadcast area
reaches most of Maine and parts of New Hampshire, Vermont,
Massachusetts and eastern Canada. Each morning Ted Talbot and I
discuss the issues that matter most to the average citizen. Whether
it is the out-of-control tax burden, legal and illegal immigration
or the Global War on Terror, we talk with newsmakers about these
issues, give you our opinions and take your calls to listen to your
thoughts about the events, issues and concerns that shape our lives.
It is a privilege for me
personally to be able to have this "cup of coffee and
conversation" with our audience each morning. |

Weekday Mornings
6:00a - 9:00a
WLOB 96.3FM and FOX 23 |
| I have
longed believed that the average citizen cares deeply about the
future of our communities, our state and our nation. Given the
opportunity, meaning given the facts about the issues as they really
are and making this information easily available which is what we do
each morning, I believe the average citizen will engage their
leaders, hold them accountable and help craft solutions to the
problems we face.
Our leaders have made government too complicated. Instead of
attempting to engage the average citizen in the process, far too
often, our elected folks fear the citizens involvement. One of my
favorite sayings is: "The thing an elected person fears the most is
an educated and informed citizenry."
I want to thank each of you for allowing me to be a part of
your morning routine. I appreciate your emails, your questions, the
way you challenge me with your opinions and the way your concern for
our future inspires me. I am grateful to all of you, whether fan or
not, for your interaction with our show.
